New Website!

New Website!

Hey guys, here it is! My new website.

I finally got round to creating it, and I can't help but be overjoyed by the fact.

I went through numerous options, building it with Figma (Sites), Framer, Squarespace, and then Astro, or freehand HTML. Ended up using Astro + Claude to achieve what you're seeing.

And while creating it was fast, I can honestly say it took quite a lot of tweaking still. It's faster than anything I've ever used, but at the same time - Claude doesn't get all the details, design decisions, and a sense for the aesthetic. It only produces what my imagination comes up with, and in a sense, I still feel like I'm building something myself.

It's a topic I've been playing with lately - I asked around to see what people thought about using AI in their practice - whether it's within their job, process, product or business. See for yourself:

Turns out not many did - the discussion got interesting either way - check it out.

When it comes to AI, I have this unwritten rule: Use it sparingly — only when you're automating/speeding up mundane tasks in favour of more time pondering creative work, or when using it to "enhance" a skill I already have. Never have it think for me, or use it for a part of the process I find enjoyable. Let's wait and see how this ages.

Either way, here's my latest brain-child. I hope it's easier for me to share work in a space that I manage myself and is accessible regardless of social media accounts.

I'll be using this here journal to throw some thoughts into the void, and maybe - just maybe - one will land on your device screen.

If you got to this point, thank you, and see you around the block!
